For the Taste of New Paltz website, as a sponsor, J.T.S. Design, Inc. was responsibile for all front- and back-end development.
Our role in this project included installing and configuring WordPress and plug-ins, creation of a responsive, mobile-friendly theme based on Zurb Foundation’s responsive framework, creation of custom post types for displaying participating vendors, and on-going maintenance and development requests as needed.
In their final year of operation in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, J.T.S. Design, Inc. was tasked with setting up a system to allow users to buy a Taste of New Paltz Passport. To fulfill their e-Commerce needs, we created an online store using WooCommerce. WooCommerce was integrated with Authorize.net to process credit card transactions. Custom shipping options were set up to allow for both free shipping and flat rate shipping based on zip code.
